AMEC is a major Engineering and Construction Company involved in Oil and Gas Projects in Azerbaijan is looking for Piping Stress Engineer (National).

The successful candidate should have:
• Sound knowledge of relevant industry Codes and Standards
• Good Technical Report writing skills
• Good communication skills
• Able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Able to focus attention on delivering quality Design Deliverables on schedule and within budget
• Computer literate

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities:

• To support the Principal and Senior Piping Engineers in delivering the Piping Engineering Design meeting AMEC and Client criteria for Technical Design Quality and Technical Safety
• Specializing in pipe stress analysis and advising design team on arrangement and support requirement to work within code stress requirements. 
• To complete requirements for Corporate membership of Chartered Institution
• To continue developing experience, expertise and confidence in technical areas with context  of company’s administrative and technical procedures
• To prepare, develop and maintain the full range of Piping Engineering Design deliverables to a high standard using Corporate Procedures / Software where applicable, Industry Codes and best practice. To achieve this on schedule and within budget.
• Preparation of Piping design deliverables, including studies, detail design deliverables and close out, as directed by the Principal and Senior Piping Engineers
• Participation in project design and safety reviews
