Responsibilities:
• Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency;
• Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measurement systems, warehouse control;
• Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes;
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as sales, order management, or finance;
• Create policies or procedures for logistics activities;
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues;
• Negotiate transportation rates or services, customs officers;
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience;
• Knowledge of English (fluent), Russian (fluent), Azerbaijani (native);
• Knowledge of International Commerce Terms;
• Knowledge of Customs Code of Azerbaijan Republic.
Preferred candidate would:
• have his own car (all car related expenses will be reimbursed);
• have experience in importing equipment;
