Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (CIDC) Baku LLC is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.

Following successful commencement of Production the Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC. 

We are currently looking for a Senior HSE Engineer position.

The duties will include (but not limited to):

• Leadership HSE Guidance to all operational disciplines on HSE matters of relevance
• Initiative taking on suspension of any operation in case of non-compliance of personnel, Company or Contractor, with Company HSE policies or procedures
• To organize HSE Induction (Trainings if required) for all visitors, new employees and sub-contractors
• To develop and implement Emergency Responce plan
• To develop and implement HSE procedures, policies and manuals (Update all documentation when required)
• Enforce the implementation of the safety procedures on site in accordance with the safety manual
• Ensures that all work on site comply with the safety requirements
• To participate at checking of technical conditions of plant, equipment and machinery.
• To STOP and to perform required safety measures during observation of  unsafe works and any unsafe conditions on site.
• Ensure incident investigation is carried out and followed up with all HSE procedures and policies
• Auditing the Construction/Paper Plant site and report during the meetings
• Liaise with Sub-Contractor`s HSE Representatives
• Provide Management with regular Safety reports

Requirements:

• Experience with local Authorities and Safety regulations
• Qualification required: HSE Trainings with International recognized and FHN (Fövqəladə Hallar Nazirliyi) certificates
• Technical University Degree
• At least 5 years relevant working experience
• Fluent in Azeri, English and Russian
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work in a team, with high motivation, self-starter and ability to take responsibilities.
