Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Higher Education – Marine Background

Work Experience: 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role in oil and gas industry

Languages: Azerbaijani (fluent), English (fluent)

Other skills/Certificates Required: 

Good practical skills and knowledge.
Good teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

Tasks:

• Cooperate and Interface with Marine Advisor to review all marine installation procedures and anchor patterns for offshore construction vessels;
• Interface with engineering department;
• Interface with clients for all marine activities, specifications, etc.
• Survey of vessels, tugs, barges for the project selection and evaluation;
• Assurance audit and crew competency assessment of vessels and tugs and vessel inspection during the operations;
• Ensure that all marine equipment required for the offshore operation are ordered and function tested prior to mobilisation and delivered to the dedicated work site. This will include specific rigging & certification required for the tow, ship’s certification such as bollard pull testing / certification, winch function-testing & certification;
• Ensure that tow preparatory works are conducted as per agreed procedures, and implemented in a timely manner;
• Ensure proper interface between onshore fabrication & offshore tow vessel in terms of operation, and especially during tow-out;
• Endorse & implement Health, Safety & Quality Process, identified by the project, during onshore and offshore operation;
• Participate to HAZID, HIRA and TRA meetings;
• Assisting in arrangement of Company Marine Coordination meetings;
• Arrange Marine interface meetings with Onshore Marine Base;
• Assisting Marine Advisor for construction barge preparation, jacket tow-out ,float-over;
• Coordinate the Marine Logistic of all project fleet  and interface with Onshore marine base;
• Vessel scheduling, port quayside occupation, Inclusive of vessel bunkering (provided by Client), cooperate with HR for crew change;
• Loading and offloading material and equipment;
• Report facts & gather all necessary information for potential improvements on marine operations;
• Provide necessary feedback for end of the project debrief meeting;
• Reporting to Marine Advisor.
