Position: Contracts Engineer
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor
Working Experience: Must have at least 3 years experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Languages: English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent), Russian (preferable)
Other Skills/Certificates Required:
• Reporting and analysis on major aspects of the project;
• Knowledge of key principles governing the management of a project, such as planning and control, contract change management, interface management etc.;
• Capability to manage the contract from the moment of the signature to the completion under different aspects;
• Full comprehension of all legal obligations and responsibilities arising out of the contracts entered into by Company;
• To be proactive and assertive, to act autonomously and to make contributions towards continuous improvement;
• To collaborate productively in the pursuit of shared objectives and contribute towards creating a positive climate in the team by assigning value to integration;
• Be fluent in standard software for PC such as MS Office;
Responsibilities:
• Associated to each Project work-front, in direct contact with colleagues from Engineering / Construction / Asset management / Procurement, and under the guidance of the leader in charge of Operations prepare, submit and chase approval of the Cost-Time-Resources (CTR), including the following duties:
Classify and Report:
• The use of own resources, the time of deployment / utilization, identified as per Client contract pricing schedules;
• The use of resources from subcontractors, identified as per Client contract pricing schedule or for reimbursement as per Subcontract terms;
• Materials, other supplies and their availability time schedule;
• The modifications introduced during implementation, which require submission of Variation; Order Request (VOR);
Keep contact and functional links:
• With Client, regarding submission of Supplier / Subcontractor documentation for Client’s approval, including bid evaluations;
• With Client, in respect of approving the various revisions of CTR prior to commence and during the course of the works;
• With Suppliers and Subcontractors, obtain commitment as to availability, time of deployment and validity of price;
• Take position in task-force duty with Operations and Project Controls;
• Liaise with Procurement and Post Order concerning supply and delivery process;
Liaise with Contract Administrator concerning management of contract with Client and Subcontractors, in particular:
• Timely Submission of CTR as required on regular basis;
• Continuous monitoring and update in accordance with the course of the works;
• Administrative closure of the CTR and corresponding VOR;
