Work experience: Area and Length
• All round IT /OSS professional with experience of setting and implementing strategies for architecture definition, package implementation and Operations
• Experience of both OSS and Asset Management solutions in a Telco environment:
• Preferably IBM Maximo, Tivoli NetCool, BMC Remedy, RAN planning tools, NSN/ Huawei & ALU element management tools
• Hands on experience of managing successful major system/package development and implementation projects
• Experience of delivering IT / OSS services in complex cross company solution and stakeholder environments, including management of outsourced relationships
• Understanding of Network / RAN Operations
Languages Skills:
• Fluent English essential
• Azeri or Russian preferred
Special Professional and Personal Skills:
• Ability to deliver with a small in house team utlising multiple vendors and Group shared service providers
• Ability to influence and manage a complex network of senior stakeholders from multiple functions and Group companies
• User centric view with strong appreciation of business aspects of tool implementations such as stakeholder management, user involvement, process change and training
• Strong programme/project management skills
• Ability to manage major vendor relationships
Responsibilities
(Main, essential, regular tasks & duties to be done. Responsibilities for team, processes & programs coordination and management)
• To develop and implement the AZRC OSS and Tool strategy
• To define a roadmap from the current state to the target system state
• To ensure successful delivery of current OSS / Tools projects: e.g.
o Enterprise Asset Management
o Umbrella Performance Management
o Development of RAN EMS for AZRC
• To support definition and management of AZRC’s role in a Group Shared Solutions approach :
• To define, set up and manage an IT Operations and Solutions Maintenance approach for AZRC
• To take responsibility for the AZRC Enterprise IT outsource service and relationship
