We are currently seeking for Rotating Equipment Specialist

Main tasks and responsibilities:

- Build, installation, start-up & commissioning of air compressors, dryer and control systems;
- Responsible to ensure Quality Assurance requirements are defined and met for mechanical work performed;
- Administer applicable Quality Assurance guidelines as they apply to Rotating Equipment;
- Identify high risk equipment, provide onsite support and offer proactive maintenance suggestions;
- Ensure appropriate hold and witness points are identified for rotating equipment;
- Provide troubleshooting expertise with hands on approach in assisting field personnel to insure equipment installation and repair maintain mechanical best practices;
- Ensure inspection activities are complete with reporting expectations clearly defined and adhered to aid in development of appropriate pre and post equipment check sheets, develop quality assurance criteria and supply reporting training and expectations to field personnel and 3rd party inspectors as required;
- Support evaluation of rotating equipment and provides guidance to stakeholders to identify key areas for potential improvement;
- Support troubleshooting activities associated with unplanned shutdowns, in collaboration with the maintenance supervisors;
- Accountable for following Operations Readiness Deliverables for Rotating Equipment;
- Support the optimization of PM's tasks and planned shutdowns;
- Measurement and recording of critical/ routine dimensional values;
- Lead a team of technicians as project leader for rotating equipment;
- Safe systems of work, hazard awareness and mitigation;
- Ability to find the root cause of technical faults;
- Ability to solve challenges on site and by remote desktop applications;

Requirements:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience;
- Preferred 5-10 years’ experience with a rotating equipment in oil & gas industry;
- Experience with the following is essential: gas compressors (centrifugal), gas turbines, pumps & electric motors;
- Experience with re-wheeling compressors, reciprocating compressors, gearboxes, rotor dynamics, vibration analysis, machinery performance calculations and condition and reliability monitoring;
- Knowledge of condition monitoring and alignment of rotating equipment;
- Understanding of oil&gas production process, storage, industry standards and applicable regulations;
- Problem solver with logical and analytical skills;
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills;
- Understanding of reliability tools and techniques;
- Advanced computer skills #MS Word, Excel, Access, Project;
- Safety Skills
