Title: Flotel Manager

Reports to: Operations Manager

Based at: 1:1 Offshore Rotation through Caspian Marine Services Ltd. (Baku office)

Main Responsibilities:

• The Flotel Manager is responsible for all aspects of running and supervising the Living Quarter accommodation, including interface with the catering contractor to ensure the proper execution for the catering scope of works (food, housekeeping, laundry…..)
• Liaise with Flotel Master, OIM and Company Man/Client Rep to ensure Flotel marine activities including movements are properly co-ordinated with all other activities to ensure a high level of gangway availability and minimum Flotel downtime.
• To act as single point of contact on board the Flotel for interfaces with Client and Contractors.
• To act as Company Representative (CMS) on board and to liaise in all interfaces between Flotel crew and Clients.
• Co-ordinate with Client for flow of personnel on and off Flotel, either as part of daily operations, crew changes (scheduled or ad hoc) and visits to Flotel.
• Ensure the Ampelmann gangway system is suitably managed with regards to operations, maintenance time and usage to keep downtime to a minimum and ensure the system is available for use as per client and contract requirements.
• Participate in HAZID/Risk Assessment for operations.
• Participate in Daily, Weekly and Monthly meetings as required on all matters in relation to Flotel operations.
• Develop and implement a robust inspection schedule (HSEQ, Operational, Engineering and Accommodation) with all departments and on board and feedback results to shore management.
• Liaise with the Flotel Master to ensure ongoing maintenance of vessel structure and equipment.
• Ensuring that provision of water, and the disposal of sewage and waste are carried out to prevent any delays or HSE issues arising.
• To be a part of the offshore ERT.
• Act as Company representative in any Incident/Accident/Near Miss investigations and assist were required with completion of Incident reports.
• Management responsibility to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of the Company’s fully integrated Safety, Environmental & Quality Management System (SEQMS) across all departments and areas of operation.
• Management responsibility to ensure all Flotel bridging documents are available and up to date.
• Assists where required to ensure the company’s and vessel continued certification under ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 and other Standards where required.
• Provide relevant information for monthly statistics reports as required.
• Coordinate with the HSEQ department in ensuring all HSEQ promotions and campaigns are properly processed and distributed as required.
• Accountable for the supervision the administration and record keeping on area specific HSE audits, inspections, reports, certifications, permits, etc.
• Ensure the minutes of departmental meetings and management system review meetings are distributed to relevant departments and sections.
• Line management responsibility for all administrative requirements of Flotel operations, including but not limited to; correct distribution and filing of all reports, memorandums, company letters, POB reports etc.
• Promote a positive Company image during the course and scope of the performance of these duties.
• To maintain a knowledge of and adhere to Company policies, procedures, guidelines and work requirements.
• Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by line manager.

Reporting

• For all onboard ‘vessel’ operations reporting the Master.
• For all Flotel operations reporting to Operations Manager.

Skills

• Master Mariner/Class I C/Eng. Certificate required
• 5yrs experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, in a senior managerial/supervisory position
• Highly responsible and able to handle confidential information
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• A strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
