Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping Control: Check the recording of financial transactions and the maintenance of general ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Preparing Monthly Financial Statements: Provide support to prepare periodic financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
  • Variance Analysis: Provide department contacts with assistance in identifying and analyzing variances.
  • Collaboration: Works closely with the General and Project Accounting groups to help resolve any accounting issues that may arise.
  • Process Improvement: In conjunction with the Manager, identifies opportunities for improvement to the reporting process, and develops, implements, and manages project plans to actualize change.
  • Training and Guidance: Providing training and guidance to junior staff.

Qualifications for Senior Reporting Specialist:

  • Possess a solid foundation in accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial and management accounting.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
  • Communication and Documentation: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document financial transactions clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity with accounting software like Odoo or QuickBooks is a plus.

Further Information About the Work:

  • Reporting: Report to the Cluster Finance Manager/Financial Reporting Senior.
  • Working Hours: Working hours will start from 09:30 AM till 06:00 PM, five days a week.
