Job description

- Create, update and maintain a variety of project controls that track the status of: individual projects or task orders, changes to projects or task orders, RFI, shop drawings and submittal, matters involving quality controls, safety, financial performance, close-out and other aspects of the project or task order.
- Support the off-site project leader and design groups in the development of functional systemization of projects for guidance on certification (GOC).
- Work with subject matter experts to create, review and process shop drawings and other submittals that are required to document the construction process.
- Participate in engineering package reviews during the select, define and execute phases of projects and provide constructive input to the design team.
- Support the change management process, by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, developing estimates and proposals, writing change orders and other related activities.
- Coordinate between the construction contractor and the project lead to resolve field  discrepancies in design packages and material delays.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure proposed construction and work methods are clearly understood and accepted and ensure agreement on environmental and safety work plans for permitting.
- Ensure equipment and manpower resources are being used efficiently.
- Review contractor work performance and project status updates.
- Work schedule: 6 days in week, from 08.00 till 17.00.
- Salary: 1500-2000

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering.
- Fluent written and spoken Azerbaijani, Russian.(English is advantage )
- Minimum of 8 years of construction experience in mechanical, civil and/or structural engineering disciplines in international projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to understand the technical solutions.
- An understanding of construction means and methods associated with the renovation of commercial and institutional buildings and site work related thereto.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, ArchiCad).
- Able to prepare reports.
