Job description

- In charge of the development and maintenance of health, safety and environmental systems
- Ensure the standards are observed
- Perform inspections and follow-up on items identified requiring corrective action to ensure timely
- Completion of action items
- Preparation of written plans and reports
- Conduct in-depth statistical analyses
- Define risks
- Propose appropriate solutions in accordance with applicable legislation and corporate policies
- Ensure the implementation of new standards
- Be the main contact for inspection services
- Train personnel on the standards to be observed
- Negotiate and manage the health, safety and environment budget
- Participate in internal awareness campaigns
- Hands on involvement with subcontractors and self-performance tasks.
- Check site security, fire, first aid and welfare facilities and procedures appropriate to the works are provided and adequately maintained
- Work schedule: 6 days in week, from 08.00 till 17.00

Requirements

- Higher education (Technical)
- Fluent written and spoken English and Azerbaijani
- Master the technical aspects of their sector
- Be thoroughly familiar with legislation in their sector of activity
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in international construction projects
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Proficiency in computerized industrial and management tools
- Qualified in implementation of EMS and OHSAS
- Able to provide detailed audit reports, with relevant required preventive and corrective
- measures

Salary: 1200-1500 azn
