Marketing manager

Ensure preparation and implementation of marketing development strategy of the National Geographic Azerbaijan magazine.

Qualification requirements:

Higher education and at least 3 years of experience in the relevant field
Organization of market conditions and advertisement
Proficiency in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages
Working skills on modern software applications
Staff management skills

Job responsibilities:

1. Organizes development of the marketing policy of the magazine.
2. Identifies new markets and potential customers.
3. Gets readers’ feedback (focus groups, interviews, etc.) on publications and drafts proposals aiming at improvement of competitiveness and quality of the magazine.
4. Establishes working relationship with various social organizations, scientific centers and advertising agencies, and organize exhibitions, meetings and presentations.
5. Implements planning and reporting procedures of the marketing service of the magazine and draws up a marketing budget for new projects.
6. Gathers information and systematizes them for the data base.
7. Arranges a solid working relationship with media analysts and analytical companies.
8. Manages the sales department and supervises the implementation of sales plan of the magazine.
9. Supports the employees in conducting negotiations with main customers.
10. Instructs the staff members and enhance their professional level.
11. Carries out financial and statistical reporting.
