Location: Azerbaijan
A vacancy has arisen for a Rotational Driller as part of the Offshore Business Unit, working a 28-day on, 28-day off rotation. The Driller reports to the Shift Supervisor and is responsible for the safety of all personnel working in the drilling packages. The Driller is responsible for drilling operations and other related activities that may be on-going at the time, ensuring that safety and operations are carried out in compliance with Client and Company requirements.
Skills and Experience:
• Experience in drilling, completing and the working-over of wells including ERD wells and HP/HT wells.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within drilling operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of operating automated 5th generation cyber rigs.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience on the operation of BOP equipment.
• IWCF well control certificate – surface stack – Supervisors level.
• Excellent communications and leadership skills.
o to direct the personnel under their authority in the practical steps necessary to ensure that all work places are maintained in a clean, tidy and safe condition and all working practices employed are safe.
o ensure that health and safety at work and accident prevention are continuously brought to the attention of all employees under their authority particularly by means of job supervision, instruction and training.
o to direct personnel on the execution of the work plans safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge and experience executing drilling programs.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Excellent report writing skills
