Report Designer
Key Responsibilities
• To analyse and interpret customer requirements to produce suitable reports and statistics.
• To test reports to ensure compliance with the requirements.
• Ability to write clear and detailed technical specifications.
• To coordinate the implementation of reports in several application environments such as test, staging, production and others as appropriate.
• Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment.
• Other duties may be assigned as required
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• 1 – 3 years of related work experience with a software reporting tool, preferably Crystal Clear reporting (I-Net Crystal Clear 7) or Business Objects’ Crystal Reports
• 1-3 years of related work experience with SQL Server
• Strong understanding of data models, relational databases, SQL queries and data mining.
• SQL skills including writing stored procedures are required (SQL language for SQL 2005)
• Ability to work directly with the end users to understand reporting requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Must have experience working closely with cross functional organizations
• Bachelor in Computer Science, Commerce, Applied Sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience
