Job Description Project Manager – Audio Visual

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior PM to manage the Audio/Video program for technology including creation and management of day to day processes and procedures to manage delivery of suppliers.
• A fundamental requirement of the position is the ability to interpret engineering schematics and to communicate design intent to the contractors, suppliers and other team members.
• Develop effective working relationships with the Venues and Infrastructure team, Venue General Managers and venue owners.
• Contribute to the detailed AV design and overlay plans for venues and plan appropriately and consistently for the required technology spaces, structures and services.
• Liaise with other functional areas to ensure their requirements are understood and accommodated within the constraints of the project, developing an increasingly detailed view of the products and services to be deployed in order to test and operate all the venues on time.
• Management of suppliers against scope and budget.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

• 7 + years of experience in the service, installation, or design of audio, video and presentation systems is essential.
• Good understanding of managing a large, rapid deployment of resources and infrastructure with strict time constraints demonstrated through proven experience in time critical projects.
• Microsoft Visio experience, Microsoft Excel and Outlook (ability to schedule meetings in Outlook and use formula’s within Excel).
• Good Azerbaijani and English language (written and spoken).
• Proactive and self-starting with a passion for AV systems.
• Pursues new ideas and creative solutions.
• Must have a flexible approach to working.
• Very well organised and capable to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively and sensitively and establish effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
