Commercial Sales Manager

Job Description

The CSM will primarily be responsible for identifying and pursuing commercial business opportunities in IT and Telecom market This position is responsible for growing the business by working with the operational and installation team, developing a team of direct-report commercial sales representatives, and building and facilitating regional accounts.
       
Responsibilities
 
• Successfully Execute a strategic and defined target plan as a hunter in commercial sales to meet or exceed established goals.
• Identify and cultivate long-term business relationships with corporate customers.
• Effectively articulate company’s corporate message and value proposition through corporate presentations and product demos; support client in designing a comprehensive IT and Telco solutions.
• Conduct B2G and B2B meetings accordingly with governmental organizations, and companies to present company’s product and services.
• Develop proposals, quotes and contracts using corporate resources.
• Develop Commercial Sales team both in Baku and regions with input from the Residential sales manager.  (Team should include direct-report commercial sales people, as well as the local independent sales contractors interested in growing their business through commercial sales.  The team should reflect the market size, opportunity, and growth objectives.)
• Work with each commercial team member to develop regional sales goals, a business plan to achieve the goals, and a target market business channel.
• Hold monthly meetings with each team member to review performance, goals and improvement plans.
• Provide guidance, insight, experience, and assistance with larger or more complex jobs to Commercial Sales Team.
• Set pricing and estimates for small commercial sales.
• Review all pricing requests and purchase orders prior to submission by direct-report and independent sales contractors before submission.
• Ensure all Commercial Sales Team members have current promotional materials, samples and price sheets at all times for all the products and services.
• Conduct weekly sales meetings for commercial sales staff.
• With guidance and approval from the Business Development Manager, run sales contests and promotions for improved performance and goal achievement incentives.
 
Training

• Provide individual training as necessary to teach proper procedures, performance standards, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with the Residential Sales Manager by presenting the Commercial information share module to the new sales contractors.
• Working with the Residential sales manager, establish a regular schedule for providing commercial sales report template to sales contractors at meetings no less than once a month.
• Implement a method to track items checked in and checked out.
• Perform other functions as necessary or assigned.

Planning and Reporting

• Evaluate market channels that offer the maximum potential in the market. 
• Maintain and update the Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Reports on Commercial Sales team performance to be presented to the Head of the Department.
• Ensure all commercial reps submit weekly call and meetings’ reports and utilize this information to analyze progress, results, new leads, and prospects.
• Track target market channel activity, progress, and results for each team member from data included on the weekly reports.

Qualifications

• Bacholer’s or Master’s degree is preferred
• 5+ years sales experience in IT and Telecom Industry;
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and desire to provide excellent customer service.
• The ability to be assertive and professional in attracting commercial customers
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software.
• Must have access to reliable vehicle and maintain proper levels of insurance coverage as well as a safe driving record and valid driver's license to fulfill the travel requirements of this position.
• Good command of Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages.
