Avirtel is looking for Sales Executive who will manage client accounts and represent the company in selling a range of IT services and goods to industrial, business, professional organizations, as well as retail customers.

Responsibilities:

The role requires significant interaction with clients, which may be face-to-face or remotely. Responsibilities include:

 Understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs;
 Ensuring quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes and then documenting them;
 Cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings;
 Identifying and developing new business through networking and courtesy and follow-up calls;
 Preparing and delivering customer presentations and demonstrations of the services, articulately and confidently;
 Marketing and promoting a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and through attending industry events;
 Generating sales leads
 Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing systems and peripherals;
 Developing effective sales plans;
 Networking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades;
 Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting literature;
 Managing workload in order to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals;
 Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources
 Acquiring and updating knowledge of employer's and competitors' goods and services, and market conditions
 Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities
 Assessing customers' needs and explaining the goods and services which meet their needs
 Promoting employers' ICT goods and services to existing and prospective clients
 Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders
 Arranging delivery, installation, and provision of goods and services
 Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with goods and services purchased, arranging modifications and resolving any problems arising
 Following communication procedures, guidelines and policies
 Preparing sales reports, and maintaining and submitting records of accounts.

Requirements:

 Prior sales (corporate /retail, direct /indirect), customer service/retention or campaign execution experience preferred
 An aptitude for problem solving and the ability to determine solutions for customer needs
 The ability to effectively communicate with customers/clients on campaign policies and procedures
 A desire to work and contribute in a team-based environment
 Excellent communication skills and follow through
