We are currently recruiting for a Department Manager to join our vibrant team in the newest and most exciting Harvey Nichols Baku Store.

Key Responsibility includes (but is not limited to):

• Follow brand layout guidelines to display merchandise and follow company policies and Procedure with regards to housekeeping and presentation
• Drive highest possible standards of Visual Merchandising.
• Strive to achieve stock loss targets, carry out all loss prevention activities and check for staff awareness of stock loss issues Coach/mentor/develop and generally drive training for team.
• Deputies for Sales Manager coach and develop new and existing team members.
• Supervise administrative duties in line with company policies and procedures, keeping all expected paper trails up to date and on time
• Ensure all Company Policies and Procedures are followed and complete all administration tasks.
• Lead by example and build solid relationships with key customers. 
• Answer any customer concerns a timely manner.
•  Ensure clear communication at all levels
• Identifying and addressing performance issues and non-attendance; confronting difficult issues professionally and efficiently
• Implementing appropriate incentives for the team
• Ensuring all reviews and appraisals are conducted on the team

Requirements and Skills for this position:

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in a large Store environment managing team of 20 plus people.
• Ability to train and coach people and gain high standard of skills in Visual Merchandising
• Able to cope with cultural differences
• Excellent language skills: Azeri, and Russian, English is preferable
• High standard use of MS Office applications
