Job Description

Technical

• Ensure compliances with storage, preservation and protection requirements of all Instrument equipment at site and spare components stored in warehouse.
• Inspection of equipment on receipt to ensure preservation was not compromised and re-application where preservation has been damaged or missed out (supplier and contractor assistance shall be used where required)
• Carry preservation activities to ensure that preservation is performed to the approved standards during. Support and guide Contractors personnel where necessary.
• Apply preservation where not applied or where the preservation has been removed to allow construction and pre-com activities.
• Execute preservation routines and maintain preservation matrix/catalogue/check sheets/tracking register for all identified items requiring preservation.
• Maintain consumables required for preservation activities.
• Liaise with WHSE team to ensure preservation status updates, requirements and activities are maintained. Reinstate/perform preservation as appropriate/required Perform regular heath check/ audits to ensure spare parts condition / preservation is assured, stock levels are maintained and obsolete equipment are removed.
• Report to Project Manager on status of daily activities and work progress.
• Understand and be able to read and identify tag names
• Installation of tag names on valves, MAXIMO/SAP number on spare parts and arrangement of spares in the warehouse.

• Responsible to maintain good working relationship with customers/vendors/clients

• Participate in risk assessments and toolbox talks. Ensure full compliance with health and safety and environmental policies and regulations at all times.
• Monitoring and prevention of unsafe situations.
• Constantly look for and act in the ways that reduce the health and safety risks, and the environmental, social, and security impact of your job and initiate improvements.

Essential Skills

• Diploma in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument)
• Considerable experience as technician 3+ years in oil & gas industry
• Ability to use technical tools and instruments required to perform duties
• Good command of Azeri and Russian and basic written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good computer skills

• Ability to read and understand drawings. Able to perform moderately complex calculations
• Required to interpret job requirements and coordinate equipment needed.
• Must have working knowledge of HSE and engineering standards
Desired Skills

• Previous experience with international companies and operations of supply base.
• Knowledge of Maximo / SAP
