Job Role: Sales Manager

Overview:

The Company is seeking a Sales Manager to join the team and report directly to the Head of Cards.  The Sales Manager will oversee the sales strategy for the setup and development of a bespoke prepaid card and mobile-based proposition within Azerbaijan.  The Sales Manager will be required to construct and implement an effective sales plan, whilst overseeing the sales and marketing team on a day-to-day basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, Sales Manager with extensive mobile payment and prepaid card experience to join a young and ambitious payments company and have a team built around them as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Report directly to the Head of Cards as Sales Manager in the setup and development of a mobile payment solution within Azerbaijan and the surrounding regions
- Develop and implement an effective sales and marketing plan and strategy
- Understand key revenue and cost drivers by product, and work to identify pricing and commercial models to drive revenue and margins
- Drive new customer acquisition
- Create and develop leads with retail partners
- Establish and maintain a sales pipeline and manage forecasts
- Participate in industry specific forums and events
- Conduct regular reviews of the market and industry development to analyze and evaluate the proposition against the competition
- Coordinate internal resources and monitor their progress to ensure targets are met
- Provide status and progress updates to senior management

Profile Requirements:

- Strong experience within the card and payments environment, specifically prepaid, mobile and e-commerce
- Proven experience in targeted B2B and B2C field sales
- Strong sales, organizational and time management skills
- Results driven with experience of creating business proposals for potential partners and customers
- Strong commercial and negotiating skills
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Highly motivated and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a startup environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to think strategically

Knowledge & Qualifications Required:

- English and Azerbaijani fluency is required.  Russian and other regional languages are a strong plus
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point
- University degree; undergraduate degree from a leading university or college is preferred but not mandatory
