Summary:

Act as a main Responsible Person to prepare Cost Estimation for Projects within area of Downstream responsibility, Review and Approval of Estimation performed by Contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and managing estimating services for complete projects of all classes (Class 2 - Class 5) by application of recognized norms;
• To liaise between various members of engineering department, Project Management and construction disciplines to establish continuity and consistency during estimating phase;
• Review specifications, drawings to determine scope of work and required content of estimate;
• Overseeing the development of MTO, material pricing and labor work-hour units for estimating projects and change orders cost;
• Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures;
• Developing Estimating database to perform professional estimate;
• Perform cost risk analysis using industry standards to determine the correct level of contingency for the estimate;
• Perform benchmarking to improve accuracy of estimates.

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas industry;
• Experience in Pre-FEED, FEED and EPC projects cost estimating;
• Good Knowledge in all estimating techniques and systems;
• Strong industry experience with estimating position;
• Experience in preparing CAPEX and OPEX;
• Must be able to read & understand engineering and fabrication drawings;
• Fluent English language skills;
• Microsoft Office knowledge.
