Area of responsibility: Sales of DH tools and DH drilling bits of NOV

Responsibilities

For performance of the assigned functions a Sales engineer  must:

1. To carry  out  the  planning and  development schemes, forms, methods and technology  of products and service  sales, promotion of products to the market.

2. Develop and organize  pre-sales activities,
create the conditions for a planned sales of goods to meet the demand of  goods buyers. 

3. Participate in the development and implementation of business plans and commercial terms of concluded   agreements and contracts, estimation of  the  degree of potential risk.

4. Explore  the  market  of  goods (to analyze the demand and consumption, their motivation
and fluctuations, forms of competition) and its development trends, analyze market opportunities in his region.

5. Obtains, recognizes and demonstrates relevant Core Competencies required for promotion and also defines the directions of his qualification improvement.

6. Gathers and analyses the information about potential Customers and their demands in equipment, manufactured by the Employer.
7. Coordinates actions when rendering services and deliveries to the Customer.
8. Together with the Technical Service support gathers, analyses the data about bits processing, drilling tools, and also the other equipment, manufactured by the Employer, prepares bits programs and associated information. 

9. Together with the legal department prepares materials for participation in tenders, held by customers.

10. Finishes professional trainings in order to fill the system of knowledge about sales, products and safety as a whole.

11. Identify the most efficient sectors of the market sales of goods, develop a set of measures on the usage  of  goods market opportunities.
12. Identify potential and prospective purchasers of goods and service  and  establish business contacts with them.

13. Interact with customers and suppliers to fulfill purchase orders and follow the procedure for invoices billing.

14. Take part in pricing, psychological study
aspects of  price negotiations,  determine ways to justify the price,  develop and apply the scheme of discounts depending on various factors.

15. Conduct pre-contractual work,
coordination of disagreement, the analysis
Customer documentation, etc.) and enter  proposals on  contracts for the sale, service.

16. Manage the organization of  the  delivery or shipment of goods buyers under the contracts. 

17. Monitor the payment of the buyers of the goods under the contracts.

18. Gather information from customers about the requirements for quality characteristics of  the  goods (service life, the rules of use, packaging, etc.), and
well as the requirements for after-sales service. 

19. Analyze the reason for referral buyers claims complaints under the contracts.

20. Establish and maintain constant updating of databases on customers  (organizational and legal forms, address, contact details, telephone numbers, names of managers and key personnel, financial condition, purchasing volumes, sales, timeliness and completeness of fulfillment and etc.).

21. Maintain regular contact with clients, renegotiate contracts with them.

22. Analyze sales volumes, volumes of rendered service  and prepare reports on the results of the analysis to provide it to the superior official.

23. Participate in matters of formation and change
directions of development of the product portfolio.

Competencies Required

High Education oil and Gas
3+ years experience in Oil and Gas drilling industry in Baku
English fluent, Azery fluent
