Environmental Adviser/Manager
AZFEN J.V is involved in Oil and Gas Projects (Shah Deniz 2) is looking for Environmental Adviser/Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
Member of ATA HSE team, the candidates will responsible for all site Environmental related activities which includes but is not limited to the following:
• Implementation of ATA Environmental program ensuring compliance with the project ESIA (Environmental and Social İmpact Assessment)
• Update of Environmental Permits, Licenses and Legal register
• Liaison and coordination third party contractor responsible for update of Ecological passport and relevant regulatory Permits and Licenses
• Implementation of ATA Environmental Management system
• Participation and contribution to Project progress meetings
• Coordination of timely Completion and submission of monthly environmental reports and statistics to Client
• Regular contact with client representatives on site with regards to different environmental issues
• Monitoring Waste Management and Pollution Prevention activities
• Conducting environmental audits and ENVIID
• Ensure all project environmental procedures are kept updated
• Follow up on Environmental Action tracking register
Additional accountabilities
• Conduct of daily environmental inspections
• Liaison with waste management contractor on daily basis
• Issue WTN (Waste Transfer Notes)
• Completion of daily waste log
• Preparation of monthly environmental reports and statistics
• Participation and conduct of Environmental Incident investigation reports
• Monitor spill response equipment availability and maintenance in conjunction with IRT Leader
• Participate in Company and Client Environmental Audits
• Arrange and conduct spill response drills on site
• Coordinate WWTP (Biomass) effluent monitoring program and produce reports
• Update of Chemical Inventory
• Conduct Environmental and where necessary Occupational Noise Measurement.
• Conduct illumination survey
• Preparation of COSHH assessments and establishing MSDS database for the project
• Conduct of TBTs and environmental training
• Roll out of environmental campaigns (waste minimization, spill response and prevention, waste segregation etc)
• Assistance to project contractors in required environmental issues
• Liaison with project Assurance and HSE Advisors
Essential Education
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science
Essential experience and job requirements
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a in the Environmental Field, especially within the Oil & Gas (direct or indirect)
• Strong communication and team work skills
• Strong technical and analytical skills regarding Environmental Impacts Assessment and Management
• Work experience in multinational organization
• Fluency in English and Azerbaijani languages
