Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in civil engineering (with specialization in construction or structural engineering) with minimum 5 years’ experience;
• Work experience in under international civil works tailored contracts is desirable;
• Possession of certificates in project management, desirably in any of HSE, contract management as well;
• Good technical analyses and overall reporting skills;
• Good knowledge in construction industry regulations, design codes and standards;
• Good knowledge of project management software;
• Proficiency with software: MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit and etc.;
• English proficiency is a must;
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities;
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities;
• Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all construction activities comply with the industry standards, safety guidelines, and regulations
• Assessing any discrepancies or potential risks to the project
• Analyzing and verification of design reports, plans and schedules, maps
• Overseeing and managing construction projects and engineering processes
• Review, expertise and validate consultants’ and contractors’ submittals, as well as, detailed design documents, specifications, bill of quantities, cost estimates, and other reports and outputs to ensure the adequate quality of deliverables and further compliance
• Considering budget, regulations and environmental hazards during risk-analysis
• Preparing material, equipment and labor cost estimates and confirming costs are within the budget
• Forecasting and monitoring the design and construction timeline and milestones
• Completing and submitting all permit applications to the appropriate agencies and ensuring projects are compliant throughout the design and construction stages
• Participate in review and preparation of technical specifications of bidding documents, and technical evaluation of the bids
• Periodic inspection of all construction activities and participation in site meetings
• Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget
• Documenting the processes and keeping detailed project logs
• Presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior manager.
