Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (“CIDC Baku LLC”) is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strategy with the development of a new plant.

Following successful commencement of Production the Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC. 
 
We are currently seeking a Senior QC (Production) to join the Company.

The duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Work in full compliance with the general work order and discipline of the company and laws and regulations.
• Observe the operators’ quality check forms.
• Supervise QC department.
• Take samples at determined intervals from the running lines and make quality checks basing on the product quality standards.
• At seeing quality defects which described as nonstandard, prevent the transfer of the related pallets to the product warehouse and report to superiors.
• Check the products which which were sent to the nonstandard zone by the operators.
• Check the materials sent to the nonstandard zone by the operators due to quality defects noticed during production. 
• At receival of new material for the first time issue a “New Material Introducing” writing and send it to the related department with attached sample.
• Keep the first product samples in a described place.
• Issue “New Material Trial Request Form” for the production trials of the new materials, record the results of the trial on the form and keep the related product samples.
• Keep the record of the customer/consumer complaints and  report to the related departments at given intervals.
• Carry out detailed analysis of the competitive products at determined intervals and issue reports.
• Strictly comply with work safety rules, report the incidents to his/her superiors together with his/her suggestions to ensure better safety.
• Working on ISO certification and all required governmental approvals
• Control all activities related to finished product line control in accordance with specifications
• Assures that all raw materials put in production are according to specifications
• Calibrates all laboratory equipment as per frequency and methods specified
• Prepares all chemical solutions and its standardization
• Control the quality tests done by operators to ensure in any time a standard quality delivered to consumers
• Tests of return product from market
• Follow the quality trade program by collecting and analyzing trade samples
• Makes sure that all consumables in laboratory are available
• Preparation of monthly reports for Senior Management staff
• Providing necessary QC training sessions for relevant departments.

Requirements:

- University degree in Chemistry (or Industrial Engineering)
- Minimum 5-7 years work experience
- Fluency in English, Azeri and Russian
- Good communicative level
- Well motivated, energetic,  self starter with imitative and able to take up responsibility
