Role Description:

  • This is a full-time on-site role for an Event Manager/Specialist located in Baku. The Event Manager/Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing events to meet the needs of Vega Travel Management clients. This includes budget management, vendor sourcing, and event coordination. The Event Manager/Specialist will work closely with clients to identify their event needs, and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide customized solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an event manager, coordinator, or specialist (minimum 1-2 years)
  • Excellent time management, budget management, and vendor management skills
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to unforeseen circumstances
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field
  • Fluent knowledge of Azerbaijani and Russian languages (English is a plus)
  • Experience with event planning software/CRM/ERP is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively in event planning and execution
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and contribute effectively to a team environment

Work conditions:

  • Office in city center
  • 5-day work schedule
  • Minimal salary is 700 AZN + KPI bonuses
