Project Procurement Specialist

Key accountabilities:

• Place local and international purchase orders
• Carry out complete contract cycle, including issuance of tenders, making bidders list, inviting tenders, opening tenders, commercial evaluation, drafting contract and contract issuance
• Negotiate major supply contracts with bidders to ensure most economic conditions, consistent with high quality and reliable delivery are obtained
• Prepare Request for Quotes
• Contact vendors and collect offers
• Prepare primary analysis – BIT TAB
• Purchase Order Preparation
• Maintain Purchase Request Register
• Make purchase decisions based on price, delivery, and suitability.
• Prepare bid tabulations and obtain engineering approvals

Required skills/experience:

• Relevant experience as a procurement/logistics body,  purchase of  spare parts (local and abroad), preferably in civil construction field
• University degree in commercial/technical or other related business disciplines
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in Azerbaijani, English and Russian
Personal qualities:
• Ability to work both individually and in a team
• Able to handle short deadlines and multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
