Tax Intern

Responsibilities:

• Assist with tax planning for clients; 
• Assist in the preparation of schedules needed to complete tax returns; 
• Assist in gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of an tax audit; 
• Assist in gathering and organizing information needed in the conduct of various state and local tax audits including but not limited to sales and use, income, and property; 
• Conduct tax research and prepare decision grids in support of projects; 
• Meet deadlines for completion of tax returns and other projects as assigned; 
• Duties will vary based on the needs of the firm and the interns training and experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or other related field required;
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
• Candidates with ACCA papers (F3 at least) are an advantage;
• Basic knowledge of tax legislation of Azerbaijan;
• Ability to work on a team and manage multiple tasks;
• Good knowledge of Russian and English are an advantage;
