Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all departmental project procedures, work practices and complete quality system. Develop and maintain a close working relationship with other groups, contractors, and third parties (if required) to maintain the quality system such that it suitably addresses all interface requirements;
  • Liaise, communicate and operate in conjunction with all other leaders to ensure a satisfactory teamwork operation that drives overall effective project delivery;
  • To ensure the successful setup and implementation of departmental/functional activities in overall support of project delivery;
  • Strive to ensure successful project outcome (HSSE, Quality, Schedule, Cost);
  • Liaise, communicate and operate with all other departments, projects, contractors, affiliates and third parties in the overall interest of the project;
  • Direct, guide, coordinate, deploy, and generally manage the activities of all supervised staff as appropriate to achieve the objectives of the project and to drive efficiency and productivity;
  • Strive to balance the allocation of resources to best meet the varied objectives of all concerned parties in the overall interests of project delivery;
  • Carry out regular reviews of workload, manpower utilisation, and staffing requirements in order ensure both the adequacy and efficiency of all allocated staff;
  • Actively partake in all project reviews with the objective of driving improved overall performance;
  • In addition to reporting called for under procedure, provide any such additional reporting required in order to communicate all key issues impacting project delivery;
  • To comply with the appropriate record filing & retrieval system;
  • To demonstrate visible HSSE leadership generally, and actively partake in all project HSSE initiatives;
  • To demonstrate visible Quality leadership generally, and actively partake in all project quality initiatives;
  • For all supervised staff (as per org charts):- Set targets, objectives and clear responsibilities; and progressively monitor individual performance against the agreed criteria. Conduct formal appraisals at least annually, and carry out other performance reviews as required;
  • For all supervised staff (as per org charts):-To develop, implement and maintain a programme of training of personnel,  so that the project procedures, work practices, and general operating systems are adequately communicated and understood by all relevant parties and to support the general development of supervised staff.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, qualification in Business Administration;
  • Minimum 15 year experience, in Oil & Gas Sector or related processes sectors;
  • Microsoft Office knowledge;
  • Fluent Azerbaijani and English language skills
