Strategy

  • Develops, coordinates and implement the sales strategy in the retail POS, in order to increase in an organic way the KPI’s;
  • Gives his inputs in developing the long term strategy in order to maximize the GMRI and Net Sales through decisions related to product / service / price / geography mix;
  • Participates, initiates and co-owns processes related to (i) the review of Retail POS’s existing offers (products and services) and (ii) introduction or discontinuity of new products/services;
  • Identifies and runs the assessment of market opportunities supporting the consolidation and the increase of the project’s KPI;
  • Tracks the performance of the POS and propose development or optimization concepts of the network;
  • Implements the business growth strategies;
  • Stays abreast of industry trends, tools and technologies, keeping innovation in the forefront. Continuously focus on improving processes and practices that create to the Clients a better added value.

Management process

  • Brakes-down the general KPI’s at POS, Sales Force, category/product level;
  • Provides, analyses, forecasts and plans the product line in order to support the inventory and costs optimization;
  • Is in charge with (i) the analysis of the sales pipe line, (ii) the identification of performers and retractors and (iii) the elaboration and implementation of corrective actions;
  • Is in touch with key players on the market of building materials (suppliers, Customers, influencers, facilitators);
  • Is responsible for the account receivables and cash-collection process respecting the targets and procedures of the Company;
  • Collaborates and facilitates the partnership with other departments of the Company – B2B sales, Marketing, Procurement, Logistics, Financial, Industrial, Legal – in order to ensure the most cost efficient and result driven internal processes;
  • Establish the development plan of the Retail Project (Budget, Profit and Loses, training plan of employees, annual action plan, marketing & communication plans, etc)
  • Generates reports tracking the achievement of project KPI’s;
  • Holds with regularity the business review with the Commercial Director;
  • Is responsible for accurate management of the costs associated to the POS activity;
  • Takes care all processes are documented clearly, consistently adhered to and modified when necessary to accommodate changing business requirements.
  • Ensure the respect of the Code of Business Conduct of the Company at the level of each member of the managed Team;

Team performance

  • Drives the Team and supports the division of objectives with clearly defined goals and accountabilities; drives for performance utilizing transparent management style and effective performance management;
  • Directs the project and POS’ team(s) by establishing individual weekly & monthly & quarterly and annual targets;
  • Motivates each member of the POS Team in achieving individual and collective achievements of KPI’s;
  • Holds with regularity follow-up meetings with the team tracking their individual and POS performance;
  • Elaborates a training calendar for all players in the Retail project and implement it.
  • Is responsible for ensuring the delivery of training programs that support key business initiatives;
  • Recruit, Develops & retains quality collaborators;
  • Is fully aware of and strictly follows the safety rules and regulations in the Company to ensure safe working environment for him/her-self and people around

Marketing & loyalty programs

  • Manages the Customer data and engage animation and loyalty actions;
  • Measures the product KPI’s and adjusts‘ the product line according to the results;
  • Tracks the Customer Journey and adjusts it in order to increase its‘ commodity;
  • Executes field visits in order to identify the attractiveness of the Company’s offer;
  • Prospects for potential new sales channels and Clients and turn it into business growth. Works with the Team to develop proposals that responds to the channels or Client’s needs, concerns, and objectives;
  • Finds the equilibrium between the marketing campaigns, inventory and GMRI;
  • Develops programs related to Product Management - project plan, resource planning and budget management.
  • Plans, coordinates with Marketing and implements trade marketing campaigns promoting products & solutions offered by POS;
  • Develops relationship building actions in order to increase the loyalty of key stakeholders of the retail segment and influencers (masons, foremen, small and medium construction teams and companies)

Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

Educational background:

Higher education in the field of Business Management and Marketing

Skills:

  • Business acumen to determine and enforce beneficial strategies to run the sales team;
  • Strong management skills to lead the Team across different business contexts and inspire them to succeed;
  • Strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • Negotiation skills to conclude the most profitable long term deals;
  • Persuasion skills to be able to convince Clients to purchase Company’s products & solutions;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Foreign languages – English and Russian;
  • Marketing or advertising experience;
  • Strong IT skills – confident user of Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Driving license B category

Work experience:

  • Relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of sales experience in FMCG or B2C or Retail or POS management;
  • 3+ years of sales team management
  • Relevant experience in the building materials industry (not mandatory, but it is a strong advantage)
  • General knowledge of the processes related to construction and renovation (not mandatory, but it is a strong advantage)
