Job Description:

Junior Achievement Azerbaijan is looking for the Program Manager who will oversee overall program coordination, reporting, advocacy and evaluation.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor degree in business, economics, or finance
• 27-45 years old;
• Fluent in English, Azerbaijani and Russian;
• Solid writing skills in English and Azerbaijani;
• Accuracy during work;
• Commercial and business awareness;
• Excellent of math and logical skills;
• Solid understanding of corporate social responsibility and fundraising;
• Good IT skills;
• At least 5 years work experience in project management;
• Demonstrated leadership managing people;
• Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment;
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills;
• Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize;
• The ability to make quick and rational decisions;
• Familiar with program regulations and reporting requirements of international donor organizations and the Republic of Azerbaijan;
• Able for travel in Azerbaijan and outside of the country.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage public-private partnerships among government and private donors, including relations building, advocacy and program implementation;
• Develop and provide leadership supervision and administrative direction for program implementation, evaluation, monitoring and reporting to donors, government agencies, and private stakeholders;
• Assume a leading role in program management, monitoring, budget, and administrative issues;
• Take the leading role in adaptation, revision, and if needed translation of training program materials;
• Develop training programs in partnership with Junior Achievement Worldwide office on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and work-readiness;
• Manage program staff consisting of Finance Manager and Program Assistant;
• Interact with partner companies, that participate in the current public-private partnership in regard to program implementation, expansion and sustainability;
• Develop current and long-term program goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures for operations;
• Establish plans to achieve goals set by the contract and implements policies, subject to approval by the donor;
• Work closely with staff members to ensure they are provided with appropriate support systems;
• Establish relations with appropriate Azerbaijani Government officials to advocate for program objectives;
• Communicate program achievements, successes, and challenges to donors, government, media, and general public in timely manner;
• Monitor, appraise and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs, making adjustments as needed;
• Represent the program in external community, attend community events;
• Conduct regular program site visits to consult and advise as necessary on program implementation;
• Manage data collection system to ensure efficient flow of information to program donor, government counterparts, and key stakeholders;
• Analyze, design and develop existing and future programs and activities;
• Other duties may be assigned.
