Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC is seeking a PROJECT MANAGER for its Head Office.

Vision Fund AzerCredit LLC (AzerCredit) helps develop the economy of Azerbaijan by providing credit to small entrepreneurs so that they can grow their businesses and improve their economic situation. AzerCredit is one of the largest micro-credit organizations in Azerbaijan. AzerCredit is currently seeking a Project Manager for its Head Office. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate projects to ensure their results are in accordance with the Project Document and internal procedures;
• Control expenditures and ensure an adequate management of the resources provided for projects;
• Organise and supervise workshops and training needed during project life cycle;
• Prepare necessary project progress reports, as required by the relevant procedures;
• Ensure adequate information flow, discussions and feedback among the various stakeholders of  projects;
• Ensure proper operational and financial completion of projects;
• Perform verification of the accuracy of the work of project team (quality control) and provide assistance where required;
• Develop the prototypes of new products and services;
• Implement modern microfinance technologies;
• Provide support and problem-solving guidance to project team;
• Provide required reporting and participate in management team meetings;
• Apply expert analytical techniques to complex systems and project status management;
• Recommend courses of action and specific activities to keep environments and projects in an acceptable status according to project standards and agreements;
• Resolve problems and deviations according to established practices;
• Meeting schedules and management for responsibility area;
• Manage multiple project tasks and assignments;
• Manage all project and task priority changes considering all parties involved;

Successful candidates should meet the following criteria; qualifications, knowledge and technical skills:

• University degree in economics, management or business administration;
• Experience in financial institutions (banks or microfinance institution) is preferred;
• Successful experience in developing new microfinance products, services and processes will be an advantage;
• 2 to 5 years’ project management experience;
• Proven expertise in project management;
• Fluent in Azeri & English (both verbal and written);
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications;
• Good analytical and problem solving skills;
• Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a team;
• Capability and willingness to take responsibility and highly developed sense of rectitude;
• Able to work as team member and to establish friendly relationships;
• Must have a clear understanding of microfinance industry and technology;
• High level of loyalty towards the organization and its mission;
