Night Receptionist

We are currently looking for a Receptionist for night shifts in our Front Office Department.

Job Functions

• Demonstrate commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
• Pro-actively anticipate guest's needs, and fulfill all written and verbal requests promptly in a courteous and helpful manner.
• To be fully conversant and able to operate the hotel's front office systems, Opera.
• Ensure that all charges are correctly posted to the guests bills following the standard procedures.
• To be aware of the hotel availability and to take every opportunity to maximise room sales is taken.
• To deal with cash, cheque and credit transactions in accordance with the hotel and company policy, and to ensure that any discrepancies are reported immediately.
• To ensure all messages received for guests are passed on accurately and as quickly as possible.
• Ensure a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and special events and where further information can be obtained.
• Be able to deal with VIP's and ensuring all regular guests are recognized and welcomed back.
• Ensure an efficient reception experience for guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required
• Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room types, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience or equivalent training required.
• Knowledge and practice of Opera PMS
• Computer knowledge
• Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, and weekends.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages
