Senior Accountant

Secures revenue by verifying and posting receipts; resolving discrepancies.Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
• Responsible for local accounting and all issues related to taxation, social protection Fund and Statistic
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
• Assist with financial and tax audits
• Maintain up-to-date billing system (AR)
• Follow up, collection and allocation of payments
• Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
• Maintain accounts receivable customer files
• Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
• Prepare bank deposits
• Investigate and resolve customer queries
• Process adjustments
• Organizing a recovery system and initiate collection efforts
• Communicating with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
• Remains available to perform  any other project as may be required
• Performs any additional assigned task. It is understand that the salary package of the Senior accountant is inclusive of the extra working hours that may need to performed from the time to time to complete all assignments in timely manner

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Analytical, resourceful,organised and able to work independently.
• Excellenct communication with the ability to interact well at all levels.
• Knowledge of MC (Material Control) + Netsis
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani, English and Russian
