Structural Draftsman Trainee

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:                    

Bachelor or Master in Structural/Mechanical Engineering (Position is for a trainee so young graduates are preferred).
 

Work Experience:           

0-2 years

Knowledge of Languages:

English (fluent), Azerbaijani (fluent), Russian (fluent) - preferable,
                                             

Other skills/Certificates Required:
            

Technical education (High school diploma or equivalent);
Knowledge of AutoCAD 2000 or later (knowledge of 3-D drafting will be an advantage);
Working knowledge in standard software for PC such as MS Office;
Professional personal presentation;
Flexible;
Good communication.

Mission: 

• Provide CAD support to the engineering department.
 

Responsibilities:
 
The AutoCAD Draftsman will be trained primary to create:

• Installation engineering drawings related to offshore oil/gas industry;
• Detailed workshop drawings relevant to the required components;
• Material Lists for parts marked on the drawing, including quantity, material quality, standards, dimensions, weight;
• AutoCAD Library.

Drawings:

• The drawings are to be created from sketches or other information sources according to the Project Engineer instructions.
• The drawings are mainly produced in 2-D, occasionally in 3-D, based on orthographic projections, presenting normal and sectional views.
