Income Auditor/Accounts Receivable

Essential Responsibilities:

• Control and reconcile the daily revenue added to PMS, daily sales in the outlets, audit F&B, FO and all other hotel revenue generated and ensure the accuracy.
• Check all the negatives of FO, F&B such as cash refunds/rebates and discounts, outlet voids as well as Officer, Entertainment, Complimentary, VIP amenities and verify for accuracy. 
• Prepare daily and monthly revenue reports for the management, perform month end closing and ensure that the trial balance agree with general ledger. 
• Audit the credit card transactions for accuracy. Ensure the POS details summary reports match with PMS.
• Checking Bank Statement and POS Detailed Statement on a daily basis and make all necessary postings in PMS and ERP system. 
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
• Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts. 
• Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment and generating invoices.
• Hold credit meeting at least once a month and is based on a review of the month-end aging debtor balance summary report

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related major. 
• Working knowledge of the hotel/restaurant industry preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in Azerbaijani, English and Russian to converse with associates and managers within the hotel.
• Being honest, reliable, confidential, and trustworthy.
• Ability to successfully manage high paced, high workload environment.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent work ethic.
