Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and submission of applicable tax returns, statistics and other applicable reports;
  • Reviewing past tax reports and reports to find possible errors and correcting them;
  • Preparation and submission of responses to the Ministry of Taxes with regard to off-site tax inspection;
  • Participation and acting as a point of contact during on-site tax inspection as may be required;
  • Liaison with representatives of the Ministry of Taxes as may be required;
  • Overseeing e-tax account to ensure a proper reconciliation of tax payments/accruals and tax balances payable/receivable;
  • Maintenance of up-to-date suppliers’ records and files;
  • Preparation and processing of payment instructions in accordance with corporate policies and requirements;
  • Maintenance of up-to-date creditors ledger;
  • Maintenance of registers for tax purposes;
  • Reconciliation and administration of creditors’ delivery acts and tax-invoices;
  • Reconciliation and administration of deposit and tax accounts;
  • Reconciliation and administration of bank account balances;
  • Depreciation of non-current assets;
  • Calculation of tax liabilities when such arise;
  • Ensuring that the company does not pay more taxes than the minimum necessary according to law and regulations;
  • Explaining new and updated laws and regulations regarding taxation.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in finance or math;
  • 5 + years of working experience in accounting and bookkeeping;
  • 5 + years of working experience in utilisation of 1C: Accounting or Sage 50 Accounts;
  • Good understanding of national tax and related laws;
  • Good communication, writing and time management skills;
  • Ability to work on various stages of the project;
  • Intermediate level of English to be able to fulfill day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Personal ethics and integrity.
