 JOB TITLE: IT Engineer
 DEPARTMENT: Oil, Gas, Petrochemical Service (Baku).
 REPORTING TO: Lead Engineer
 

• Responsible for providing General IT support for Company’s ICCS Control system’s, including all aspects  of digital  security, as detailed  in ICSS Process Control Digital Security Technical Guideline Document  3BGB 000812, relating to the existing  PCS, ESD , F&G systems and allied  equipment installed on operating processes.
• Ensuring that engineering changes are in accordance with client’s and Company standards
• Interfacing with Customers at various levels to understand the detailed work requirements and to update the Customer as appropriate
• Carry out  maintenance and engineering changes in accordance with client’s and Company standards and change control procedures
• Based in the Baku office (Sit visits, including Off-shore facilitates will be required)
• Availability to work unsociable hours and be part of a team providing on call, phone, site / heliport response
• Active interfacing with other members of  the Customer Support team and providing feedback for continuous improvement
• To represent  the company at meeting with client and supplies
• To ensure that work is implemented within agreed budget targets, that any potential extra work or cost changes are flagged to the  assigned Manager
• Assist with Factory acceptance tests
• To ensure that safe working practices are followed
• To actively look for and report on new opportunities – for Customers and Company

• To be flexible in the type, location and working hours required
• To provide general office IT support

 
 COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: Education:
Engineering Degree in Computer Science , HND or equivalent industrial experience.
  
Experience
Good understanding of the Oil & Gas industry.
Thorough Industrial IT experience and product Knowledge.
Company Knowledge:
              
Marketing/Industry Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of Industrial IT used in Process Industries.
