Key Accountabilities:

Monitor the operation of all systems to ensure proper functioning of hardware and software
Install and configure servers
Administer Exchange Online system, virtual machines, web servers, Windows servers, storage, and database technologies
Daily support and administration of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
Administration of vSphere ESXi, vCenter Server, vCenter Site Recovery Manager, vSphere VSAN, and iSCSI SANs
Maintain regular backups of all servers and verify validity of those backups
Identify, research, troubleshoot and resolve problems with hardware, software and IT systems
Installation, configuration, and administration of Windows servers
Monitoring regular backup operations
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors

Essential Education: A bachelor’s degree in related field

Essential Criteria:

Minimum 5 years of experience as progressive IT, at least 3 years as System Administrator
Experience with Windows Server, MS Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365 (Online Exchange)
Good knowledge of managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/vSphere ESXi (VMWARE certification is preferable)
Familiarity with Cisco, Aruba/HPE and Unifi network switches and wireless systems, understanding of LAN/WAN networking (CCNA certificate as minimum)
Good level knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF and RIP. Practical knowledge of BGP peering types
Familiarity with Fortinet, Cisco ASA firewalls and network security standards
Strong knowledge of HP Server Hardware concepts
Experience with data backup and recovery systems
Ability to solve server and systems problems
Good Azerbaijani and English verbal communication and written skills

Desirable Criteria:

Understanding of networking concepts
Ability to solve server and systems problems
Working well as part of a bigger team, but also be able to deliver and work independently
Ability to prioritize work
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
