Business Development Specialist

Business development specialist performs tasks related to the activity of the business actions to ensure business development tasks and processesdepartment. As such, the business development specialist is concerned with the analytical preparation of reports and briefings for top management about potential growth opportunities.  for the management as well as the subsequent support and reporting.


Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Identify business development opportunities for the company both within and outside the existing areas of operation;
• Conduct market research activities for targeted business sectors to identify opportunities and needs;
• Liaise with other members of the Department and other departmental managers as appropriate in the formation of the Company business development plans and participate in their implementation, as required;
• Receive and review tender enquiries and to assist in tender responses and recommend commercial terms/prices
• Account for corporate business sales targets
• Be aligned with the corporate business strategy and develop on the brand strategy
•Conduct market intelligence activities for targeted business sectors to identify opportunities and needs
• Develop and grow existing government and corporate accounts to meet corporate business objectives
•  Good sales presentation skills and knowledge of tender preparation and proposals
••  Be able to work closely with various departments especially the channel management team to ensure smooth fulfilmentfulfillment of orders tasks;
•  Handle product enquiries and complaints from customers whenever necessary
••  Conduct product demonstrationspresentations at events, seminars and exhibitions whenever necessary;
•• Any other duties as assigned by the Business Development Manager
• Build referrals and lead generation network


Education and Experience

• Diploma holder in related field Minimum BA degree in relevant field
• Minimum 1 year of related relevant experience
