Job description:

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Talking to staff or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing, and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Replacing parts as required.
  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
  • Following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system.
  • Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
  • Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
  • Responding within agreed time limits to call-outs.
  • Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate).
  • Testing and evaluating new technology.

Requirements:

  • Higher education (technical education is preferable)
  • Fluent Azerbaijani and Russian languages
  • Knowledge of English language(minimal conversational skills, ability to read and translate technical documentation)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in similar position
  • Knowledge and work experience with Windows OS 
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Configuring and deploying Windows 
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Good troubleshooting skills 
  • Knowledge of Windows Domain, LAN
  • Knowledge and experience in working with printers and print servers
  • Mounting passive and active network and other computer related equipment
  • Repairing/assembling computer equipment
  • Attentiveness
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interface with personnel and customers at all levels
  • Recommended certification required: CCNA or Microsoft MCP, CompTIA A + Strong work ethic
