The scope of your tasks will mainly comprise of:

  • Providing, developing and enhancing the project control plan and project tools (project handbook, methods, templates, etc.) and work processes for the project set up, execution, and closeout within the assigned project.
  • Executing the Project Controls Process on Capital Projects as per Engineering Manual.
  • Executing special assignments defined by the Program Director (e.g., Scanning and Skimming of Contract, Bill of Quantity Analysis, Quantity Take-off, Unit Price Analysis, Risk Analysis).
  • Managing the interface for Project Controls activities to all required Departments (e.g., Engineering, Finance, Procurement) and to the Architect/Engineers and Construction Contractors.
  • Providing project management support in decision-making processes, provision and preparation of relevant management information (e.g., for Steering Committee Meetings).
  • Continuously monitoring the practicability and the benefit of the Project Controls process and tools included in the Project Controls Procedure Toolbox and suggest improvements.
  • Setting up project communication concept in collaboration with responsible communication functions and support clients via internal and external communication
  • Facilitating and enabling the project team to drive smoothly through the project phases and changing project conditions (supporting the integration of new team members, the adaptation of tools and infrastructure, etc.).
  • Organizing internal project workshops and team-building events (e.g., Project Execution Workshop, Lessons Learned Workshop), including content and methods.
  • Supporting the Program Director with new resources, ensure know-how transfer, especially training on tools, processes, and client requirements.
  • Assisting clients with internal audits and project reviews, perform project reviews and audits.
  • Coordinating benchmarking, lessons learned, and best practices.
  • Coordinating within Global Engineering the utilization and knowledge transfer of project information management tools.

 

Our main requirements are:

  • 10+ years of work experience within the construction industry (both in the field and technical office)
  • Knowledge and expertise in infrastructure projects (road construction, water supply, WWTP)
  • Knowledge and expertise in construction schedule analysis (working program)
  • Knowledge and expertise in international projects (including FIDIC)
  • Knowledge and expertise in BoQ analysis
  • Experience in the management of construction projects is desirable
  • University degree in civil/industrial/mechanical/electrical engineering or architecture
  • Knowledge in Oracle Primavera P6 Professional, MS Project, MS Office, Autocad
  • Fluency in English. Working knowledge of Russian is highly desirable
  • Willingness to assist and guide young professionals
  • Willingness to travel frequently
