Accountant

Job description:
• Process and assist with payables and receivable entries
• Manage fixed asset registers
• Manage and process salary and payment transactions
• Analyze accounting records
• Analyze current and past budgets, prepare and justify budget requests
• Research economic and financial developments that affect the organization
• Recommend approval of requests for funds and advise staff on cost analysis and fiscal allocations
• Examine budgets and seek new ways to improve efficiency and increase profits
• Prepare and review budget estimates and proposals for completeness; accuracy; and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives
• Any other duties which may be reasonably required by the Finance or Regional Manager


Requirements:
• University degree in finance, accounting and/or other related business disciplines
• A minimum of 2-3 years work experience in accounting.
• Strong practical knowledge of recording tax accounting transactions is a must.
• Knowledge of 1C (mandatory) and MS Office applications.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and Russian, English (strong upper intermediate or higher is a must).
• Good analytical skills.
• High level of motivation.
• Ability to work in a team.
