Head of R&D Project Management

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex, global, cross departmental R&D projects.
  • Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery
  • Set the right methodology for how projects need to be planned, delivered, monitored and communicated.
  • Manage the lifecycle of our complex projects - Map stakeholders, Kickoff, set time frame & budget, scope, map risks, monitor progress, manage changes,  escalate and communicate the progress of each project.
  • Create and facilitate a yearly\quarterly Roadmap
  • Own the rollout process of the different projects to our end users and internal customers.
  • Be the one individual who can address all delivery and program related topics
  • Act as an Agile coach and mentor within the organization
  • Be a Jira Champion within the R&D department
  • Help lead the Engineering Squads to success.

This Job is for you if you:

  • can work under pressure and manage many projects simultaneously, from initiation through to delivery
  • have a Bachelor of Science in System Engineering, a technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Project Manager in a large company, and have managed complex global R&D projects.
  • Min 3 years leading project managers.
  • have proven ability to lead people toward execution, resolve conflicts. and make things happen.
  • have experience working with offshore employees / global companies.
  • are highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • have  a positive attitude and empathy
  • are self-­aware and have a desire to always strive to improve
  • are familiar with Atlassian’s tools eco-system

  • have insight to notice problems in how we work, and to take the initiative to fix them
  • have the ability to see and to understand the larger context in which your team works and to craft solutions within that context
  • experienced in working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
