The main duties of the successful candidate will be: 

  • Develops effective working relationships with clients and company associates
  • Collaborates with other departments to provide quality service to clients
  • Engages in professional and efficient communication with clients
  • Leads client meetings
  • Promotes additional services to client when appropriate
  • Exhibits a high level understanding of technical requirements, procedures and principles
  • Ability to apply relevant tax law to clients and circumstances
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships across the company
  • Contributes and supports new ideas on internal processes and client engagements
  • Effectively delegates responsibility providing proper instructions, monitoring and coaching
  • Manages projects by scheduling associates, tracking completion and managing the budget
  • Gives feedback effectively to minimize repeated errors and apply new concepts
  • Maintains open communication with team regarding the progress of completion on projects
  • Manage and mentor members of tax team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of tax management experience is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong project management and delegation skills
  • Advanced written and spoken Azeri, English and Russian
  • Strong knowledge of Tax legislation, Double Tax Treaties, PSA, IFRS and National Accounting Standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), 1C. SAP and other accounting software would be an advantage
