Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Windows systems
• Perform system maintenance
• Setup system back-ups
• Perform monitoring on systems
• Create technical support and guidance
• Maintain system security
•  Perform and test routine system functions checks to assure continuity of critical services that depend on integration and
• Implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of: MS Active Directory, VMware etc.,

Requirements:

• BSc/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
• Proven experience as a Windows System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
• A strong understanding of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, GPO, Exchange, SQL Server)
• Experience with DBMS (database management systems);
• Knowledge of system back-ups;
• Good experience with VMWare including administration, support, patches, upgrades, etc..
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
• Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
