Gobustan Operating Company Ltd. is announcing a vacancy for  Chief Mechanic  position.

Candidate must have the following qualities and knowledge:

• Higher technical education;
• At least 5 years of work experience in managerial technical positions (in the capacity of the Mechanic of oil and gas field equipment, Chief Mechanic of oil and gas field equipment) in oil and gas exploration and production enterprises and also, the enterprises drilling oil and gas wells.
• Guidance, regulatory and other ruling documents on organization of service maintenance, repair of oil and gas field assemblies, unit and equipment with various degrees of difficulty, including mobile and stationary diesel power stations, specialty vehicles and automotive engineering equipment.
• Procedure of compiling summaries and reports on results of the activities in all oil and gas producing production facilities, specialty vehicles and automotive engineering equipment.
• Labour protection, safety, occupational sanitation and fire protection rules and regulations.
• Experience and skills to arrange and conduct direct assembly and disassembly of equipment in oil and gas wells, servicing and repairing old and new stocks of oil and gas wells, auxiliary and special equipment, boilers, pressure vessels and assemblies, others.
• Availability of various certificates, permissions and work permits and management of hazardous production facilities as required by State Agency for Control over Safe Conduct of Work in Industry and Mining, Fire Service and other agencies are welcome.
