Job description:

  • Delivering tax compliance and accounting management engagements;
  • Providing tax technical advice relevant to business issues and opportunities;
  • Providing tax technical input for audit of tax;
  • Supporting clients with their group/statutory Tax Reporting needs;
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships across a portfolio of clients;
  • Advising clients on driving efficiency through the compliance process, improving controls, and leveraging technology;
  • Advising clients on the tax and tax accounting implications of new legislation;
  • Responding to client requests for ad hoc technical advice;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills. Communicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear;
  • Coaching and developing junior members of staff.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field required..
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant tax experience.
  • Ability to research, learn and analyze applicable tax law rules and regulations.
  • Good knowledge of 1C (other accounting software is an advantage)
  • Strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Fluent in Azerbaijani and English
  • Progress ACCA/CIMA/CFA or other similar professional designation preferred.;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with ability to master new systems quickly.
