Caspian Investment and Development Corporation (“CIDC Baku” LLC) is embarking on a major project in the production of fast moving consumer goods and the production of raw materials to facilitate this strat-egy with the development of a new plant.
The Baku based state of the art manufacturing works requires the assembly of a project team with high skill, proven potential and the ability to drive the vision of CIDC.
We are currently looking for a Production Manager position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work in full compliance with the general work order and discipline of the company and laws and regulations.
2. Organize and control all activities of production and maintenance staff of tissue converting.
3. Ensure productions made according to the production plan, production efficiency and waste level targets and product quality standards.
4. Ensure converting equipment well maintained to keep the targeted efficiencies.
5. Develop ideas to increase production efficiency and reduce waste and implement after getting the required approval.
6. Coordinate all efforts of production and maintenance teams to ensure the line will be in production in the shortest possible time.
7. During product change overs ensure the change over has been accomplished according to the procedures, production plan and time frame.
8. Ensure machine cleaning and regular checks/controls are well performed at machine cleaning shut downs.
9. Interact closely with the lab to coordinate immediate corrective actions when required to ensure consistent product quality.
10. Make sure all consumables in production are available.
11. Closely follow the performances of subordinates and identify the needs to improve their skills and performances.
12. Inform immediately Converting manager about any nonconformity about the production, equipment, product specs, quality and his subordinates.
13. Ensure implementation of standard operating procedures for all production activities. In case of any update needed, inform Converting/Production Manager with his suggestions.
14. Assist Converting/Production Manager to set production goals and targets.
15. Strictly comply with work safety rules, report the incidents to his superiors together with his suggestions to ensure better safety. Check the behaviours of his subordinates in order to prevent them from any harm.
MUTUAL RELATIONS:
1. Directly reports to Converting/Production Manager.
2. Converting Line operators, packers, mechanics, electricians, converting workers are his subordinates.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATE:
- Higher Education (preferably Mechanical, Process, Production or Industrial Engineering)
- Relevant work experience: 5 -7 years (preferably in Production/Manufacturing Industry)
- Fluency in Azeri, English, Russian
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Flexible and fast learning
- Excellent communication, organizational and teamwork skills.
