Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of industry specific audit procedures
- Apply appropriate accounting principles and auditing standards to reach and support conclusions related to assigned areas;
- Perform upfront reviews wherever required for deliverables and as advised by the team lead
- Ensure the work is performed with high quality and completed within agreed turnaround time
- Assist to perform significant risks assessment and audit procedures according to an audit plan
- Ensure proper documentation and audit file quality, work on improvement in audit work papers based on ET feedback
- Demonstrate awareness of firm’s risk management policies and procedures by identifying independence and conflict issues to team supervisor and /or in-charge
- Continuously adopt process improvements and work towards improving efficiency in the performance of audit
- Develop understanding of services offerings within and across lines of service to identify opportunities to meet client needs; and consult with them when variances to standard practices are encountered;
- Ability to improve own performance/ approach to work and client service delivery;
- Participate in firm’s strategic initiatives and/or corporate social responsibility programs
- Any other tasks reasonably assigned to the staff member.

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of audit experience at accounting/ audit firms
- Bachelor degree in accounting, Audit or finance related subject;
- Student membership of ACCA/ CIMA or equivalent is benefit
- Proficient in both oral and written English
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive and career-oriented by nature
- A team player with strong analytical thinking and motivation
- Proficient in the use of standard business software: MS Office tools
- Applicants with less experience or fresh graduates may be considered as Junior Auditor
